hi, I'm in the IB program and am writing a paper on this subject as well.  I must say that we are taught not to agree or disagree with any statement, but rather address it from all angles. I do, however, find it impossible to separate the two.  of course what anyone beleives is going to be "true" to them.  if one believes in God, then they ultimately consider that to be true. however, beliefs can change, truths cannot.
