looking for an academic supervisor Please help!

Dear, Sir/Madam!

       My name is Artem Ushakov! I am a post-graduate (student) of Pedagogical Department,
young scientist in
EAST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER VOLODYMIR DAL
already holding M.A., speaking English and German.
       I decided to take part in UNESCO/Keizo Obushi fellowships Programme 2006.
I have chosen such domain of research as "Intercultural Dialogue".
       I am writing you to get to know whether there is in your university  
a department which deals with the issue of intercultural dialogue
or there are some scientists who study intercultural communication or
probably you can be my academic  supervisor in this research project?

       According to UNESCO / Keizo Obushi fellowships Programme  2006
I am supposed to find a host institution for my research studies that
will not include fees for my research under auspices of an academic  supervisor.
The  exact  term  of my research in your university (3-7 months), starting with
2006.10.10. -

       UNESCO  gives  money only for my being in your country, so it does
not imply any fees for  the research. I would expect some guidance from you  
( some pieces of advice concerning the methods  to  use  in  practical
realization of my research (compiling questionnaires).  All necessary reports,
writing articles I will do by myself.  I  need  just  your agreement and the
letter of acceptance from your  university.  The  research  does not imply  getting
any degree! It carries only practical value for my country and my dissertation
research in EAST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER VOLODYMIR DAL.

I have chosen the following topics for my research:

1.) “Diagnosis of potential multicultural environment in the context of  
tolerant attitude education towards other culture”
(I propose a detailed discription of the research in the attached file)
(reformulation of the topic is possible)

2.)  “The influence of  multicultural communication on education of tolerant
attitude towards other culture”

3.) “Intercultural dialogue as means of  international interrelations harmonization
in civilizational area”
What topic do you think is the most actual?
      
       The theme of my research can be corrected somehow in order to make it
sound properly. I am ready to discuss it with my academic supervisor!
I would be very thankful for your coordination in finding the person who studies
Intercultural Dialogue and can be my academic supervisor!

       I count on your help in writing an approximate detailed budget
estimate (between US $ 8,000 to US $ 10,000) I do not know how to do it
because I do not know how much costs living in a hostel or in a hotel, how much
will food cost me per day?
Here is the answer of UNESCO consultant concerning my inquiry:
"In response to your e-mail, we inform you that is your responsibility to find an Institution for your research studies.
First of all you have to identify the period of your studies(from 3 to 9 months) and the country. Then you have to take into account the following elements:
1. for Europe the estimate for the cost living is about 1500 US dollars per month.
2. The medical insurance is 52.72 US$ per month
3. It is advisable to find a host institution for your research studies that will not include fees for your research.
4. the price of your travel round trip to the country of studies."


       I am ready to provide you with necessary information concerning the
Program and my personal data. I  am very much upset because I can not find
any host university and an academic supervisor for my research project!
My participation in UNESCO Programme  is on the verge of a break-down!

       I am quite aware of the fact that it is not an easy thing to except me
without my entering Graduation school (the term of studying is 2-3 years) but
UNESCO / Keizo Obushi fellowships Programme  2006 does not imply this
( the term of the research is  3-9 months) but at the same time your university is supposed
to except me as a scholar. Probably there are some other opportunities to be in your
university possibly as an assistant of my academic supervisor or some other position (social/cultural
worker) for the term of my research?
       I believe that the supervision is supposed to be of the other kind as
to comparison with a domestic or international post-graduate student,
i.e. consultations; all other things I am supposed to do by myself.  
       Can  you  tell  me web-links and the address (e-mail contacts) of scholars
who deal with the issues of Intercultural Dialogue???

       Please, let me know as soon as possible whether your institution is ready to
except me, because I am dependent on the letter of your acceptance!
